Your profile is what other players see when you come up in their deck. Your clips, your games, your platforms, and your synced ranks are what someone reads before deciding to send a request — and clips are the part that does the most work. A profile without them never enters anyone’s deck at all.

Build Your Profile

1

Add your gamer tag and display name

Set the gamer tag you use most often and the display name other players will see on your profile and in match suggestions. You can change these later, but pick something that represents how you show up in-game.
2

Upload a gameplay clip

GamerPlug uses clip-first profiles in place of static photos. Instead of a headshot, your profile leads with a short gameplay clip so potential teammates can see how you actually play — your mechanics, your decision-making, your vibe — before they ever send a request. Upload a clip that shows your best (or most representative) play. MP4, MOV, and WebM formats are supported, up to 90 seconds and 100 MB per clip.
3

Select the games you play

Choose every title you want to be matched in from the supported games list. GamerPlug currently supports Apex Legends, Arc Raiders, Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, Escape from Tarkov, Final Fantasy, For Honor, Fortnite, Halo, Halo: Campaign Evolved, League of Legends, Marathon, Marvel Rivals, NBA 2K, Overwatch 2, PUBG, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, and Valorant — with more titles added regularly. Browse the full list on the supported games overview.
4

Set your platforms

Select every platform you play on. GamerPlug supports:
  • PC
  • PS5
  • Xbox
  • Nintendo Switch
Adding all your platforms ensures you surface in match pools for every device you actively play on.
5

Set your preferences

Set your playstyle, mic usage, team play, conversation style, and when you usually game. These appear on your profile so other players know what they’re getting before they send a request — worth filling in properly, since it’s what someone reads alongside your clips.
Players with complete profiles — clip uploaded, games selected, and schedule set — receive significantly more and better-quality matches.

Profile Visibility

Control who can see your profile from Settings > Privacy. You can switch between settings at any time. Switching to Friends Only hides your profile from new match suggestions, so keep it on Public when you’re actively looking for teammates.

Next Steps

With your profile built, connect your gaming platform accounts to pull in verified ranks and stats automatically.

Set Your Platforms & Stats

Pick the platforms you play on and add your in-game names so GamerPlug syncs verified ranks and stats onto your profile.
