GamerPlug keeps the platform clean through three things that actually exist: clip-first profiles that make fake accounts obvious, optional World ID human verification, and player reporting reviewed by the team.
GamerPlug does not have an automated reputation score. There is no post-match rating prompt, and no algorithm that silently removes players from your matching pool. Moderation is human-reviewed and report-driven.

Clip-First Profiles

Every profile leads with gameplay video rather than a static photo. A bot or a resold account can’t produce footage of itself playing at the rank it claims, which is why clips are required before you appear in matching at all. This is the platform’s main defense against fake profiles, and it’s passive — you get the benefit without doing anything.

Human Verification

Optional World ID verification proves there’s a real person behind an account. Two tiers: Verified players carry a badge on their profile, and you can filter discovery to verified players only. See Privacy & Safety for how to verify.

Reporting a Player

If someone is harassing you, running a fake profile, or posting inappropriate content, report them and the GamerPlug team reviews the account.
1

Open their profile

From a match card or a chat thread, tap the menu.
2

Tap Report

Choose a reason: Inappropriate content, Harassment, Fake profile, or Other.
3

Add detail if you chose Other

Selecting Other requires a short written explanation. Specific messages or timestamps help the team act faster.
Reports go into a review queue. You won’t get a direct update on the outcome, but confirmed violations result in warnings or account removal.
Reporting is available in the mobile app. It is not yet on the web app.

What This Doesn’t Cover

Being straight with you about the gaps, so you know what to expect:
  • There’s no automated griefer filter. A player who rage-quits on you will still appear in matching unless you report them and the team acts.
  • There’s no user-level block. If someone is bothering you, report them rather than expecting a self-service block.
  • Tournament bans are organizer-only. An organizer can ban a player from their own event; that has no effect platform-wide.
