Squads is GamerPlug’s built-in LFG for Apex Legends. It’s a chat feed: squad posts and conversation share one timeline, split into rank channels, so you can find a squad and talk to it in the same place.
Squads is open to everyone. On the web it’s in the app nav for any signed-in player. On iOS and Android, the Squads tab appears once Apex Legends is in your games.

Channels

The feed is split into channels: #general plus one per Apex rank tier (#rookie through #predator).
  • Ranked posts appear in each rank channel their rank range covers. A Platinum–Diamond post shows up in both #platinum and #diamond.
  • #general shows every live squad: all Ranked posts, plus every Pubs and Mixtape post.
On the web, rank ranges show Apex rank badges next to the tier names, so you can see at a glance who a squad is for. Anyone in a channel can chat there, so you can ask around before you post.

Post a Squad

Open Squads and create a squad

You can have one active post at a time. Editing your post reopens the same form.

Pick your mode

Choose Ranked, Pubs, or Mixtape.

Set how many players you need

Choose 1 or 2. You’re the host, so a post for 2 makes a full trio.

Set when you're playing

Start now or pick a time. Posts expire 7 days after their start time.

Check your rank range and platform

Ranked posts use a rank range of one tier either side of your synced Apex rank. The range is fixed; you can’t widen it. Platform is prefilled from your profile. Turn off every platform chip for crossplay.

Add mic, want tags, and a note

Say whether a mic is required, add up to 3 want tags, and write a short note (up to 140 characters).

Handling Requests

Players who fit your post can request to join. As host, you see each applicant’s rank and profile, then accept or pass. GamerPlug checks eligibility on the server as well as in the app. A player outside your rank range or on the wrong platform can’t get in by calling the API directly.
If you edit a post after accepting someone, the players you accepted are dropped. GamerPlug warns you before you confirm.
When your squad fills, everyone moves into a shared squad chat to pick legends and drop spots before you queue.

Squad Size

A squad is you plus up to 2 others, a full Apex trio. The composer offers 1 or 2 open slots, and the host counts toward the total.

Tips

No platform selected means crossplay, which matches the most players. Selecting all three platforms is different: it only matches players whose synced profile reports one of them.
Someone in your rank channel may already be one short. Asking there is often faster than waiting for requests.
“Chill ranked grind, no mic rage” gets better requests than no note at all. You have 140 characters to set expectations.
