# GamerPlug Tournaments: Compete and Win with Your Squad

> GamerPlug pulls live and upcoming gaming tournaments into one feed — find events, register with your squad, and track results in one place.

Finding a gaming tournament used to mean bouncing between Discord servers, subreddits, and a half-dozen bracket sites — each one a separate account, a separate sign-up, and a separate dead end. GamerPlug's Tournaments section fixes the discovery problem by pulling live and upcoming events into a single, browsable feed. More importantly, it's the only place where you can find a squad *and* a tournament in the same app — so when a 5-stack event pops up, your team is already one tap away.

## Types of Tournaments

GamerPlug hosts two distinct kinds of events, and both appear in the same feed.

**Community-hosted tournaments** are organized by individual players and streamers. Events like the *Community Double Header with Luckyshots X DBellGuns* are run by community members who set the rules, post the lobby code in the activity feed, and bring the energy. These tend to fill up fast — some cap out at 50 players with a \$100 prize pool.

**Org-hosted tournaments** are run by established esports organizations such as BB eSports, CyberX League, Gamers Battle Arena, and eSports Faction. These events often integrate with third-party bracket platforms like Challengermode, and may link out to register on the organizer's site.

## Formats and Prize Pools

Tournaments on GamerPlug run a variety of competitive structures:

* **Single Elimination** — lose once and you're out
* **Double Elimination** — a loss drops you to the lower bracket rather than out
* **Swiss** — fixed rounds against opponents on a similar record, no eliminations
* **Round Robin** — everyone plays everyone
* **Battle Royale** — placement-based scoring across multiple matches

The formats offered depend on the game. Apex Legends adds Battle Royale, 1v1, and 3v3; Fortnite adds Solo, Duos, Trios, Squads, and 5v5; League of Legends offers 5v5 and 1v1; Valorant is 5v5.

Platforms are per-game too: Valorant and League of Legends events are PC only, while Apex Legends and Fortnite support PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and cross-platform (Fortnite adds mobile).

Prize pools range from **free entry** all the way to **\$100+ cash prizes**, depending on the event. Each tournament card shows the prize pool upfront so you know before you commit.

## Supported Games

The Tournaments tab currently features events across:

* Apex Legends
* Valorant
* Fortnite
* League of Legends

These four titles are the ones tournaments can currently be created for — the rest of GamerPlug's supported games are for matchmaking and squads. Use the game filter on the Tournaments tab to narrow the feed to your title.
