# Set Your Platforms and Connect Game Stats

> Pick the platforms you play on and connect Apex Legends, Fortnite, or League of Legends so GamerPlug syncs your ranks and stats automatically.

Your profile carries two kinds of gaming identity: the **platforms you play on**, which you pick from a list, and your **in-game stats**, which GamerPlug syncs automatically for supported titles once you tell it your in-game name. Verified stats sharpen your matches, because the algorithm scores against real numbers instead of a self-assessment.

  GamerPlug signs you in with Google (or Apple on mobile) and never asks for your Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo password. There is no platform account login.

## Set Your Platforms

    Tap your profile icon, then **Edit Profile**.

  <Step title="Select every platform you play on">
    Choose from **PC**, **PS5**, **Xbox**, and **Nintendo Switch**. You can select more than one.

    You immediately start surfacing in match pools for each platform you selected.

## Connect Your Game Stats

Three titles sync stats automatically from the game's official API. You connect them by entering your in-game name — no password, no permissions prompt.

    Add Apex Legends to your profile and enter your **Apex username** exactly as it appears in game.

    GamerPlug then syncs:

    * **Account level** and prestige
    * **BR rank** and rank points
    * **Lifetime kills**

    Stats refresh every 5 minutes, so your profile reflects your most recent session without any action from you.

    Add Fortnite to your profile and enter your **Epic username**.

    GamerPlug then syncs your match stats and current rank, refreshed every 5 minutes.

    Add League of Legends to your profile and enter your **Riot ID** in `name@tagline` form — for example, `Faker@KR1`.

    GamerPlug looks up your summoner profile and ranked tier through the Riot API on demand.

<Tip>
  The in-game name has to match exactly, including capitalization and tagline. A near-miss either returns nothing or attaches another player's stats to your profile.

## Every Other Title

The remaining supported games use the rank, role, and playstyle you enter yourself. Self-reported stats still drive matching — they're simply not badged as API-verified. Keep them current and your matches stay sharp.

## Troubleshooting

**Stats aren't appearing**

Check the in-game name on your profile character by character against your name in that game. A missing tagline or a wrong capital is the usual cause.

**Stats look out of date**

Apex and Fortnite sync every 5 minutes. Give it a few minutes after a match ends before the numbers move.

**The wrong player's stats are showing**

The name you entered matches a different player. Correct it on your profile and the next sync overwrites the data.
